Managing a ReadyNAS after ReadyCloud is gone
I've seen a few posts about ReadyCloud alternatives, but most seem to be focused on accessing shares remotely. I don't need to access the shares, but I do need to be able to access the NAS GUI to do ...

Are you saying you want to do that remotely???
If you are on the same network, just browse to https://nas-ip-address/admin or https://nas-name/admin (using the real IP address or hostname of course).
If you want to access the web admin ui remotely, there are three options:
- create a secondary https port in the NAS setup, and forward that port to your NAS from your router
- use an inbound VPN (like openVPN) if that is available in your router.
- user ZeroTier
(1) and (2) would also need DDNS so you could connect with a URL instead of an IP address.
(2) and (3) offer the best security.

what browser can I use to access NAS ?
I'm trying to access RN10400 with browser, keep getting
Connecting to Admin Page, then, after maybe 60 seconds ? get 'Ready NAS Admin page is offline'
saw elsewhere here thread to use Firefox 0.94 ?, didn't work either

Any industry standard and decent Web browsers are workable.

tried current Chrome current Edge on up to date W10, tried FFox on W7, getting a progress stripe for maybe 60 secs or so, then get the message 'Ready NAS Admin page is offline', NAS is online, can access files/folders via network folder share
saw in another thread suggestion to use FF .94, tried several FF version, same issue
NAS works fine, can access data, can't access web GUI

Not relevant for your NAS, that is a workaround for systems that run 4.x and 5.x firmware. Not for 6.x.

I suspect you will see precisely the same behavior with ReadyCloud. It's not about your browser.
Try rebooting the NAS.
