My WD RED WD30EFRX experience

I also bought mine over time, and I haven't seen any problems at all. BTW, WD's RMA policy seems about the same as Seagate's.
I agree with mdgm that it is early days, my oldest Red drive has ~8000 hours on it.
My main advice though is that you should have an independent backup of your data.
