My WD RED WD30EFRX experience
2 out of six WD30EFRX has failed- this is my third year with readynas ultra6 - and this disks are the first to fail on me. All other disks have not been on the HCL. This time I wanted to be smart and ...
Disks can and do fail at any time. WD may have made some improvements based on experience with the earlier RED drives but often we may not find out how good drives are till after they have been discontinued.
