ReadyNAS Vault is probably not a good choice if you have a limited budget. 1 TB of vault storage costs $859.50 per year.
You can find more affordable on-line storage, though it requires a fast internet connection to be practical (and even then takes quite a while if you have a lot of data). It took me a couple of months to get my entire NAS uploaded (about 6 TB of data). Download would probably be about the same. I use it as my disaster recovery, and have local backup for the more usual cases.
