Need help once again please!
Please move this if in the wrong place. I had a fixed IP on my ReadyNas Duo. I switched from DSL to cable, so the network changed from 192.168.1.xxx to 192.168.0.xxx. I went in to (forgot what you ...

I never expected as much difficulty changing from a network of 192.168.1.xxx to 192.168.0.xxx. What had me very concerned is when I made the change on the NAS, Frontview froze and would not come back again after I closed and reopened the browser. I was worried about shutting the NAS down and rebooting, but that did work out.
Other issues were all network printers could not be found. Seems to have changed my master computer name somehow in this simple IP switch :). and My backup program retention utitily could no longer find the program to mange backups. So not horrible, but more work than expected.
The upside is I have been telling myself I will rewire the office and get a faster service "when I move". Well, I have not moved in 11 years, so it was time. Went from 2.5 mbs to 182 mbs. Worth the hassle.
As always, greatly appreciate the advice here on this forum. Likely time I look for a new and upgraded NAS. But this one works so well (especially after the switch to Red drives) and streams beautifully, so why change? I still have 800GB left.
