Need to replace RN31400

My RN31400 just stopped working and will not turn on.  Is there a new NAS I can buy so I can just take my old drives and put it in the new NAS and see all my old data?

Most likely a power adapter failure.  So I suggest doing a risk-buy of a compatible replacement.

    A couple I am seeing on-line are

Note the RN312 adapter is 60 watts (5 amps), while the RN314 is 7 amps.  Ideally purchase a replacement that says it is at least 7 amps.  Some don't say (regrettable), so at least make sure it includes the RN314, and not just the RN312 (or RN1xx/RN2xx).

I doubt you'll find any new readynas out there.  But you could get a used one. RN300/RN400/RN520/RN626 are all x86 OS-6 NAS, and you can directly migrate to any of these systems with 4 or more bays.

RN100/RN200 NAS would also work, although they are ARM.  The RN200 is a better option than the older RN100.

Older Pro and Ultra models can be converted to OS-6, and after that you could migrate the disks.  But keep in mind that Netgear discontinued them 10 years ago,
