I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

OS reinstall is the correct process - but it needs to be done with the disks in.  

It will

1. reset the admin password back to password
2. reset the IP configuration to DHCP with no bonding
3. turn off volume quota (which can be turned on again from the volume settings wheel).
