I bought this as backup solution. I was told I can backup with this. As far as I can tell this unit is usless, has a very limited amount of capabilties and remote backups are not possible. I don't get it. No documentation.

Thuis is a user community, not a formal support channel - definitively not a way to get answers within four minutes.
If you are not even able to tell us what kind of system or data you intend to backup locally and remote - afraid, my crystal ball is on a holiday.
Last but not least, how should we help you if you run away after posting, retiring your account?
I understand my friends which prefer flying freight - much less hassles than pax.
