Network issues with NV+4250

Hi, i've had my net gear readynas NV+ 4250 for many years now and all of a sudden I can't see the device on the network any more.. I've made no changes to my network setup and on the device screen it says i have an ip address.. however my MAC and Windows machines cannot see it!
I have rebooted the device and it does appear on the network, on my mac i am even able to map to it and see the folder structure.. however after a few seconds the folder disappears and the device disappears!!

I've tried to connect my mac air directly to it (rj45 cable and mac with static ip of 192.168.168.167) but nothing mounts!!

Help, anybody seen this before?

if its the devices network card then do you know where i can buy one from?
if its a firmware issue then how do i update if i can't connect to it?

  • Help..

to add to this when i turn on the readynas it picks up an ip address and for around 2 mins i can see the device on the network and even map the drives... however after 2 mins i lose connectivity... has anybody seen this before?
  • It could be a full OS partition.

Maybe try deleting the log files in the 2 minutes you are up.
