New version of ReadyNAS Ultra 4?
Hi Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra 4 were released in July 2010 (2 years ago) if I read the reviews correct. Is there an updated version on the way? If so, when is it planned to be released? Thanks!
Ultra4 is very much a modern NAS. If I had to add a wishlist for a future model it would include:
1) USB3
2) eSata
3) Thunderbolt (probably wishful thinking)
4) hardware based encryption of NAS share data (AES-NI support)
Then I'd have a laundry list of software wish list items.
