NV+ and HP CM1312nfi MFP

So I am trying to figure out a way to use my MultiFunctionPrinter to scan docs directly to my NV+. My goal is simple. I want to get docs on to my ready nas digitally and easily.
Scenario 1: Person goes to mail box, person takes mail box contents to scanner, scans in items they want (i.e. bills, important doc's, etc), Person through hard copy away, retains digital copy for records.
I know that I had to install the hp utility on my Mac that made it show as a destination to my MFP, since I can't install on the NV+ not sure what to do? :|
any help would be awesome.

- If you have installed the HP Solutions Center on your Mac, then you should be able to send the result to the NAS. I do it all the time with Windows. You may have to let Solutions Center send it to the default file address on the Mac (I do on this PC - it goes to my Document folder) I then rename the file and copy it onto the NAS. I also have a lot of my bills sent electronically and you can usually print those out. I have a small utility called PDF995 that is a printer emulator. I simple direct the print job to PDF995 and it converts it to a PDF file and I can direct it anywhere I want. I do not know if such a utility is available for the Mac.
