NV+ dead and need to replace
I have a NV+ with three disks in XRaid format. We had a lightening strike and the NAS is dead (despite whole house surge protector AND local surge protector...). If I buy a new ultra 4 plus can I ju...
You would need to get another NV+ (v1 - silver chassis) to be able to migrate your array to another NAS.
If you like instead you could try data recovery using a PC: Mounting Sparc-based ReadyNAS Drives in x86-based Linux
Or if you have a good backup or the data is not important you could simply do what Stephen suggested above.
