NV+ Power Supply Failure
Apparent power supply failure in my Readynas NV+. System appears to power up then becomes unresponsive even to power button on front of machine. Smell coming from machine. Part#/Model#: RNV2-S4-R4...

1. What region are you in e.g. US? I know they have been providing free replacement PSUs in some regions e.g. the US. Alternatively you could purchase the RND4PSU1 if it's still available

3. Provided all disks are fine, it should work fine. The new NAS should not be running firmware any older than what was on the old NAS. Before doing the migration, I would choose a spare disk (not from your array), put it in the new NV+ and upgrade the firmware on the new NV+ to 4.1.7 (if it doesn't come with it).
