NV+ Power Supply Failure
Apparent power supply failure in my Readynas NV+. System appears to power up then becomes unresponsive even to power button on front of machine. Smell coming from machine. Part#/Model#: RNV2-S4-R4...
Good info Papa Bear. I ended up pestering the system on the phone long enough that they sent me a PSU replacement (charged me about $27). The only way they would entertain any concept of support was for me to dig up proof-of-purchase since I was not registered to the serial number. Swapping the PSU was a snap. My NV+ is now working--albeit now with a recent disk failure.
