There is a post somewhere on the forum about what you'd need to do rewire a standard PSU (do at own risk and only if you are comfortable with messing with stuff like that).

In the US, they still do the PSU replacement. I don't know about down here. It is up to each region division of NetGear to decide what they do in regards to this.

The RAID format is different unfortunately so you can't migrate your disks across to the NV+ v2 or any of the other current models.
