NV+ won't get connect to the LAN after reboot
My NV+ v2 RND4000 4-bay has been humming along for ~2 years. I had to reboot the unit recently. After which, the unit is not recognized on my simple home network anymore. All the computers and the NAS is connected to the same Netgear GigE switch. Not very tech savvy myself, looking for some pointers. Thanks in advance.

Try installing RAIDar on a PC, and tell us what it sees (perhaps attach a screen shot).
Also - there is a lot of confusion over ReadyNAS platform labels. Please review this guide: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
Then tell us what model you actually have.

Hi au2778,
Welcome to the community!
I hope you could also tell us what does the LCD screen on the front panel displays when the power button was pressed? After the unit restarted, the LCD screen will display the basic information about the device (volume space and IP address), were you able to see this?
Kind regards,
BrianL

Model:
ReadyNAS NV+ V2
RND4000-2000NAS
After boot up (smoothly):
192.168.1.251
C: 2.1/2.7T free
I checked my router and it sees this device and have the right IP assignment. But the comupters (Win 7 Pro, Win 10 Pro, Macbook Pro El Capitan) cannot see the NAS anymore in the network realm. Just installed the latest RAIDar 6 on the computer. It sees the NAS, it is green (healthy) and when I open the admin page. It says "The device is offline, please wait..." And it sits there with no dashboard information. I am not sure how to bring it back online.
