Performance Difference with 1gb Upgrade?
Hi All, i have a ReadyNAS NV+ (RND4000) with 4 x 2TB Drives. this is a brilliant machine, it still running on standard 256mb memory I can't fault it on streaming speed, it streams a 25gb bluray rip...
I was in a similar situation; had a lot of extra memory and just happened to find SODIMM's that worked. I upgraded a DUO to 1GB and an 1100 to 1GB but also use an NV with 256mb and an 1100 with 512mb and for what I do I'm not sure I'd bother upgrading them again if it came down to it. YMMV but I find them to be capable with stock memory.
