Photo, model, or specs for ReadyNAS Pro fan

Greetings,
I am trying to rebuild an old ReadyNAS Pro RNDP600. The original fan was bypassed, but I would like to replace it with something that can be cpu controlled like the original but match the original specs so it can move enough air but not draw more current than the controller can supply.

Any help appreciated,

John
  • The original is a Crown AGE12025B12M.  Many who have had to replace them, or just wanted to to reduce noise, have used a Noctua NF-S12A FLX, which runs a lot quieter.

Thanks very, very much for your help. I had replaced mine a long time ago but unfortunately I did so with something that did not move the same amount of air, and that fan has also since died.

FWIW, I am one of those folks, and the Noctua has worked out well (I installed it about 3 years ago).

But as far as specs go, the original Crown definitely was spec'd to move more air - 78.2 CFM (132.9 m3/hr), compared to 107.5 m3/hour for the Noctua. I haven't found any problems in practice (and the original Crown never ran full-out except for a short period during boot).

I've attached the specs for the Crown (not that easy to find anymore).
