Possible to connect QNAP TS-251 to Netgear WNDR 3800?
I woukld like to buy NAS, I prefer QNAP TS-251. I have router Netgear WNDR 3800.
Does the router and its switch support trunking port for connection of NAS giga ports?
In the manual of the NAS they say: "Make sure the Ethernet interfaces are connected to the correct switch and the switch has been configured to support the port trunking mode selected on the NAS.!
Unfortunately i have not find in the manual of the router information about trunking support.
Is it possible to connect the NAS to two ports. Will it work?

You are posting in the wrong forum (you should be in home networking for the wndr3800).
However, the WNDR3800 does not support LACP teaming. The only router (from any manufacturer) that I know of that does support it is the Netgear R8500. Generally you need a "smart" switch.
There is one linux teaming mode that can be used w/o router/switch support. Check your QNAP manual for details.
