Power Supply Replacement
I have a ReadyNAS 1100 Model RNR4450-100NAS that I bought in January 2008. It won't power on so I suspect a bad power supply.
I see that Amazon.com has a replacement Seventeam ST-220FUB-05E power supply. I also see some postings indicating that a couple of pins may need to be swaped/changed in order for it to work on a ReadyNAS.
Would anyone know if I need to change a some pinouts on the 20-pin connector in order to use the replacement power supply on the ReadyNAS 1100?
I am trying to determine the level of effort needed to resurrect the NAS system. The alternative is the recycle the unit, and save a lot more pennies for a replacement some day.
My plan, so far, has been to use the ReadyNAS as media storage for my Apple Xserve running macos El Capitan.
Thank-you,
Dave

If you want to make the modification yourself (saving some money), the pin out is here: http://www.readynas.com/download/archive/pdf/ReadyNAS_PSU_pinout.pdf

Thank-you VKGH and StephenB for your replies.
After much introspection and consulting with a hardware guy (I'm mostly a software guy administering his own servers and laptops), I decided to retire the ReadyNAS (it's been unused for quite awhile -- I was looking to repurpose it recently) and save my pennies for an up-to-date replacement. I could've probably done the modifications myself but I have higher priority (and less risky) items on my To-Do list. I've popped the drives to give to my hardware guy who has the equipment to verify that they're still good to use. The remander of the system will head to an electronics recycler.
It was good while it lasted, and thanks again to those that responded,
Dave
