Price increase on ReadyNAS 2100
On Tuesday I priced up the ReadyNAS 2100 4TB and found it to be about £1200 on sites like eBuyer, dabs.com and Amazon. However today the price has doubled and the sites that are still selling the ReadyNAS 2100 at £1200 or less only have 1 or 2 in stock. dabs.com say they have no stock altogether - on their site it says "ordered upon request".
Why the sudden price rise?

- sphardy1ApprenticePossibly due to market price increases in Drives - though doubling the price seems excessive
You could source drives separately: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic ... 59#p328441  - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredPerhaps the recent floods in Thailand pushing up drive prices has something to do with it?
Edit: beaten.
One can expect prices will remain high for the rest of the year and probably into next year. It'll likely be quite a while before things get back to normal. - Reado1AspirantOK thanks, I'll order the cheaper one ASAP then. :)
