So found this simple solution installing Linux reader a freeware utility, installed one of the disks into an external hard drive and it did the rest and I was able to restore to another disk with easy.

Oct 19, 2020Thanks for the response.
I did add the mesh network and also changed the ISP router to Modem mode.
I can see the readynas now has an IP from the mesh network and I can access the admin console, I can see it in RaidR but just cannot access using the UNC path...
I will try the reset option and let you know how that goes.

Oct 20, 2020So it looks like that didnt work. It seems my IP was automatically assigned rather than static which is odd as I am sure when I set it up many moons ago I did set a static IP.
Anyways I have 2 disks in an X-RAID configuration and taking each disk out to see if I can retrieve data gives me the same message in the logs.
Does anyone know of anyway I could get these disks up and running again.
I am not sure if this makes any difference but the NAS has been switched off for a few months now but before it was switched off it was operating ok so unsure why I have suddenly got this issue.....confused.
