putname+14
I have a support contract that I paid for but there is no place on under MYNETGEAR to open a ticket. The system doesn't recognize that I have this option. It only allows me to enter info in Ask The Community. I am very upset with this.
Anyway, I tried unabling Link Aggregation on my RN104 connecting it to a JGS516PE. I set it up for Round Robin since the the RN104 is no lame it doesn't support LACP. When I had everything configured and bonded the two ehter ports on the RN104, it locked up and now only shows the putname+14 error on the LCD. Can I get it help restoring it and getting the LAG working?
Thanks
Mark

What firmware are you running?

Does this guide help? https://community.netgear.com/t5/WiFi-Range-Extenders-Nighthawk/Nighthawk-EX8000-NO-SUPPORT-AVAILABLE-AFTER-REGISTERING/m-p/1641893#M26034
If not, try emailing customer.service@netgear.com

The RN104 does support LACP. But the JGS516PE doesn't (according to page 6 of the datasheet here: https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/switches/Gigabit_Ethernet_Smart_Managed_Plus_Switches_DS.pdf )

Does it boot if you disconnect one of the ethernet cables?
If not, you could do an OS reinstall. That will reset the password to password, reset the NIC back to the factory default (DHCP, no bonding, etc), and turn volume quota off. Instructions are on pages 28-29 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS-100/ReadyNAS_%20OS6_Desktop_HM_EN.pdf

I am running 6.9.5
I mis-typed. It is the JGS that doesn't support LACP.
I was able to pull the plug and reboot after unpluging one of the cables. Now it's resyncing for about 20 hours probably like last time.

No, it didn't help, but thanks. Seems that person has (had) a similar issue. See snapshot below. It doesn't have any option for Chat or email or anything.
And the next snaphot shows that my purchased support is still valid. And it doesn't matter which browser I use. I've tried FF, Chrome, IE, on multiple machines.

Potentially a browser and/or service platoform issue - you need Netgear for assistance. ChristineT Christian_R

Not sure what advantage you expect from a link aggregation beyond of the link redundancy - the RN104 is ways of the performance to reach a single 1 GbE link bandwidth.
The ReadyNAS® 100 Series Network Attached Storage (NAS) RN102/104 Data Sheet does list ...
...
• Port Trunking (balanced round robin, active
backup, balance xor, broadcast, 802.3ad
link aggregation LACP, transmit load
balancing, adaptive load balancing)
• Hash Types IEEE 802.3ad LACP or XOR
(Layer 2, Layer3, Layer 4)
......and the What are bonded adapters and how do they work with my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system? KB entry does include the Desktop Home systems (like the RN102/RN104), too.
The limitation in your set-up - beyond the basic RN104 itself - might be the JGS516PE which does only allow configuring a static LAG, no dynamic LACP.

When doing a cold power restart, does the system recover (with just one GbE link plugged to avoid any other possible issues)?
There were various issues around link aggregation on the ARM based ReadyNAS since the intro of 6.9.1 plus some versions. Was the firmware up2date before enabling the LAG on the ReadyNAS?
