RAIDaR vs Hardware

I have a ReadyNAS 1500 and it satisfied my needs of just a bunch of storage for video surveillance along with a little bit of storage. I had it connected by only one (1) of the ethernet connections and got everything up and running fine. To add some piece of mind, I thought I would enable the second port and use it in a Team/Failover as Active Backup to a Cisco SG300 switch. When I enabled it, I lost my connection and it took a while for it to come back up which was kind of expected. When it did come back up, it did not have any volumes on it anymore. RAIDaR showed it had 2 dead drives in bay 3 and 4 and the lights on the device for drives 3 and 4 were not lit. I powered cycled it and it came back up but the blue power light was flashing. I let it flash over night and this morning it was still flashing. I powered cycled it again and then everything came up fine, the volumes are back, the lights are on, etc. I can access everything as before. But when I go into RAIDaR, it shows that drive 4 is Dead but the light on the device for drive 4 is lit solid green. So, which is right? RAIDaR or the hardware?

When I say RAIDaR, I mean the web interface that comes up when I launch the Setup from RAIDaR.

Thanks in advance.

Todd.
