Ready NAS RND2200 V2 - The array is still in degraded mode.
Recently, I did a NAS reboot with a system check at reboot. Following the system returning to service, The RAIDar again showed a message, " The array is still in degraded mode, " I have downloaded the system logs but I have no idea how to find out which of the drives is failing.
Can someone please tell me how to find the failing drive? I have 2 new drives coming ( One for replacement and one for future problems ) but I would hate to randomly have to choose a drive to replace.

mdstat.log should show you which disks are not in the array.
You should also look at the smart stats - I don't own a v2, so I'm not sure what log gives the best presentation of that data. But maybe start by looking in any log with smart in the name, and if there is a file called disk_info.log, then look in there also.
You might also want to power down the NAS, connect the disks to a Windows PC (either with SATA or a USB adapter/dock), and test them with vendor tools - Lifeguard for Western Digital, Seatools for Seagate. Label the disks as you remove them, so you can return them to the proper slots.
