Here is some additional information: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop app. I can log into the readycloud website and access my files, and I'm running firmware 6.10.3.

Which means it has to be something with the app. The NAS is connecting to the cloud.
What device are you using with the app?

I'm using my laptop with windows 10. My wife tried to log in last night too with her windows 10 laptop, and had the same result. That said, when I tried to log in this morning, I was still getting the "VPN disconnected" message, but after refreshing the app a few times, it finally worked (and I did unistall the app yesterday, downloaded it again, and reinstalled). One thing to note is that this was working fine yesterday morning using my wireless, but when I plugged into the router (via a docking station), the problem began. This morning, I unplugged the router from the moden, and plugged directly into the modem. Like I mentioned above, at first it didn't work, then success after a few tries (I'll try the router again a littel later this morning). After it started working, I updated the firmware to 6.10.4 and rebooted the NAS drive.

I've chosen not to use ReadyCloud myself - which limits the advice I can offer. Instead I use openVPN for remote access (which is built into my Orbi router).
But this doesn't sound like either the router or the modem - normal internet connections are working, and the ReadyNAS is able to establish a VPN connection to ReadyCloud (otherwise the web interface would also fail).
The ReadyCloud service itself might be misbehaving (maybe other folks who use it will chime in and say if they are experiencing connectivity issues at the moment).
Is there any internet security software running on the PCs? That might also factor in.
