Have you tried rebooting it?
Can you get to the boot menu?: How do I access the boot menu on my ReadyNAS 102, 202, 212 or 312?

Hi, Yes I have retried rebooting. Have left off power overnight as well and rebooted the next day. No joy there.
I can access the Boot menu. Are you going to suggest an OS Reinstall?

Well I’d probably try booting to volume read-only mode as the first step.

It still doesn't appear to be doing anything. When I try booting in Read Only, I can access the correct settings, Power light and Disk 1, I press the reset button again and the power light flickers for a little while (about 5 seconds) and stops. I then just get the same as normal, Power and Act lighs constant. No Drive lights. If I go into RAIDar again, still fails to see the whole NAS unit.
The Led on the network socked does flash and the computer does find it.

Can you explain this a bit more? Are you saying that you can ping the NAS from the PC?
Can you try powering down the NAS and removing the drives (labeling then by slot number). Then power up again, and see if RAIDar finds the NAS (reporting a "no disks" status). That will give some information on whether the NAS chassis is ok (or not).
