There is no ReadyData expansion, though perhaps they meant the EDA500. That doesn't work with the RN104 either, it is only supported on the RN300 and above.
The eSata port should simply work with standard eSata drives, but you are not the first to report issues. You might need to adapt the TAURUS to USB 3.0.
