- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDid you just install these disks? If so did you use the disks before putting them in the ReadyNAS?
Did you install all the disks at once?
Is your data backed up? - jacquesvanzijlAspirantits a brand new installation drives never being used.... all at once
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDid the NAS come with those disks, please take a look at http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu
Otherwise or if reseating the memory doesn't help, you may wish to try a factory reset (http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu) - jacquesvanzijlAspirantok got the problem,, was not memory, one harddrive failed, we did a seagate tool test and it failed.
so format all the drives in a PC and re-installed it .... 100%
thank you - jacquesvanzijlAspirantok we are back to where we started with - CORRUPT ROOT..!!!
