ReadyNAS 314 16TB Limit?
Hi, I am currently running an ancient NV+ and finally have some spare money to buy a new NAS, however, I was wondering if there is actually 16TB limit on the 314? I've checked the compatibilit...
The 314 has a 64-bit Intel CPU and doesn't have a 16TB limit.
However, as seen in the 6.1.9 Release Notes, the 104 does not support volumes greater than 16TB in capacity. Yes, this is because the 104 uses an ARM CPU.
We do not support using drives that are not on the compatibility list however using 6TB drives in the 104 may work, provided you create volume(s) which is(are) less than 16TB in capacity.
