ReadyNAS 316 Hard-Drive Failure
Hi all,
Recently installed readyNAS 316 six bay unit.
Inserted 5 TB harddrive (1TB each, 5 pieces). Copied 2TB of data from old backup harddisk.

Some files or folders are not accessible through the Windows Explorer but can be accessed by admin on Admin Panel on web browser.
What might be the problem?
There was a warning message about one of the harddrives earlier telling me to start planning to replace it in the future.
Thank you in advance for your help.

- amankyeldAspirantI sent the logs. Please help.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou have two disks that are failing badly and are using a single-redundant volume.
Do you have another copy of the data that is on the NAS?
If not you will need to proceed carefully. You may need to clone one/both of the failing disks using dd_rescue.
You may wish to consider contacting support and purchasing a data recovery contract. Note that data recovery may be unsuccessful.
