ReadyNAS 3200 Drive Bay Failure

Good day all. Hope this topic does not exist yet.

The problem I’m having is that one of the drive bays does not start up with the other bays. The bay, nr 11, will only come up 20minutes or so after the NAS device has started up. I want to create a RAID 5 system with all 12 2TB drives.
What can be the problem? Hopefully it is not a major problem.

Thank You

I would suggest you contact NetGear tech support (http://www.readynas.com/support) for assistance with troubleshooting this issue.

Have you tried another disk in slot 11? Have you powered down, removed disk 11 and connected it to a SATA port on your PC and checked it using vendor tools?
