ReadyNAS 3200: mix SATA-Versions?
Hello community We have had a ReadyNAS 3200 for 2 years now. Now the first HDD's are having errors so we're expecting a HDD-failure soon. Two years ago we equiped the NAS with 2GB SATA-II HDDs....

3TB disks would work in bays 1-4 only. The controller used for bays 5-12 does not support 3TB disks. You could use disks on the compatibility list for the 4200 v2 in bays 1-4 but NetGear would not support the use of disks in the 3200 that are outside the compatibility list for the 3200.
