ReadyNAS 3312

My ReadyNAS 3312 will not recognise Solid State drive. Everything lights up but nothing shows up on the interface. Can any one please help? I am using Seagate 1.8 TB model # ST1800MM0018 drives. All mechanical drives register correctly.
