- awesmdiverAspirantJust thought I'd let others know about my experience with Maxtor drives. I purchased them prior to getting the NV but my experience has been nothing but joyful.
I have 2 6H500F0 (firmware HA431C00) for almost 7 months now without a problem. Smart+ shows no errors of any kinds (besides some Hardware ECC errors, ok) and they have been up for over 800 hours and have over 360 start/stop counts to them as I put the NV to sleep every night.
I just added a 7H500F0 (firmware HA431DD0 - I should have bought these originally as they have the 5 year warranty) about a week ago and so far no issues at all.
Just thought I'd let others know about these drives. - tysivaAspirantI got the Maruson Technology POF-400US from here and it is not detected by the ReadyNAS NV. I bought an APC UPS but you may want to add the Maruson to your list of incompatible.
On a different note thanks for a great product! I was quite pleased when my SlimServer seemed much more responsive after the latest firmware. - curious1AspirantI guess i might try to contribute here as well.... Eaton Powerware 3105 is INCOMPATIBLE as far as UPS goes. NV just wont seem to notice it.

I'll put that down as well. Thanks! - phrozenAspirantMy Canon i320 printer doesn't seem to work with the ReadyNAS. The printer appears and I am able to map it, but when I try to print to it, windows hangs.

Try setting it up as an IPP Printer with Bonjour. - phrozenAspirant

What's that? I'm using windows... - yoh-dahGuide

You can download Bonjour for Windows from Apple's site, and it should detect the printer and allow you to set up IPP Printing over HTTP instead of CIFS. We've seen folks who've had problems with printing over CIFS had success over HTTP. - madfiddlerAspirantNo problems with an Epson Stylus Photo R320
