Thanks for the reply and info, They will be arriving tonight but I doubt I will get a chance to try them until late Sunday. I'm a little hesitant to have the NAS powered on any longer than necessary, it is currently powered off and I do not remember what firmware is running. I'm fairly certain Ive updated it at least once. I'm not sure if it would be quicker and safer to backup the data on the remianing working disk over to another external prior to trying to sync with one of the new drives or not. The (1TB) drive is almost all the way full. I have the majority of the data backed up elsewhere but theres at least a hundred gigs or so that has not been backed up. The drive that is still working is actually the oldest. I will check out the factory reset ;link once I have secured my data and have everything backed up again. I hope someone else who has tried the WD2003FZEX drives will respond as well.
