I'd start by powering down the NAS, removing drive 1 and rebooting. If that fails, you can probably recover data by connecting drive 1 to a windows PC and installing linux reader (http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/)
You won't be able to migrate your data to the 312 directly, you'll need to restore it from backup.
