ReadyNAS Duo has stopped working
Hi, I have a ReadyNAS Duo RND2000 v2 with 2 1TB drives, I tried to access it today and its not on my network map anymore. It was silent with network activity lights flashing and no lights on the front. I pressed the power button and the fan revved up as if it was restarting but the fan stayed elevated and did not proceed to boot up. I pulled the plug and tried to boot it up again, the fan stayed elevated for about 5 minutes then dropped maybe half way (still audible) so I had a look at the front panel lights seem to be blinking code 33 (3 long, 3 short). I saw no mention of codes in the manual. Can anyone help me with the code definition and how to rectify it? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Many v1 users mistakenly think they have a v2. There's guide here you should check: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
The LED code for the duo v1 is below. I'm not sure if it is the same for the v2.
LED blink behavior for 2 disk systems is three quick blinks of all disk LEDs and the backup LED, followed by a 1 second delay, followed by a number of slow blinks. The number of slow blinks will be the error code.
Current error codes:
.
1 – Vendor mismatch
2 – No disks detected
3 – Bad contents on root partition of disks
4 – Flash error
5 – Unsupported RAID configuration - OZrevheadAspirantOK its a v1, so how do I fix the issue?

I would power down the NAS, connect disk 1 to a windows PC, and see if Linux Reader can see the data volume. http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/

It was a while ago when I set it up but I believe I mirrored the drives, will the Linux reader still work on seperate drives too?
If a drive was faulty wouldnt the NAS still boot up? I cant access the interface either.
