Actually you can. There's a long thread here that gives you options.
Posts 1+5 give you one option.
Another is to use FireFox. Set security.tls.version.min to 1 (browse to about:config and search for the setting).

Then better describe how you are unable to log in and we can offer other possible solutions.
The drives in your NAS are Linux formatted using LVM. There are methods you can use to access the files on a Linux or Windows system, but they are best just used for data recovery, not replacement of the NAS. And since you already have access to your files so you can back them up, you don't need to do that.
