The ReadyNAS Duo that you got is a v1. Kindly read this: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how ... -or-nv-v2/
Also, 3TB disks are not support on ReadyNAS Duo v1 because it does not have GPT partitioning. Check this link: http://www.readynas.com/app/hcl_disk
You could only use 2TB disk/s on ReadyNAS Duo v1.
