I looked closely at my Linksys WRT54G router and discovered the firmware was really old. I updated the firmware in the router and the ReadyNas performance was > 2MB on the XP machines. I had to perform the MTU adjustment for the VISTA machine and everything seems to be working just fine. So it seems that the I had 2 issues (1) The Linksys Router Firmware (2) The MTU issue with the VISTA machine.
