ReadyNAS Essentially Denial of Service

Something happens to the RN214 where it becomes so busy that I essentially suffer a denial of service. I do not see anything that I am causing to run, like a back up. This is the second time it has happen with in 3 months. I cannot login to the UI or access it through the map drive. If any body has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I have ReadyNAS, not the same model, over 20 years and never suffer such an issue.

Below are the stats:

Model: ReadyNAS 214

Firmware 6.10.6

Status: Healthy

Antivirus: 31 Dec 2021

Free Space: 69%

Have you tried downloading the log zip right after the problem clears?  The logs might have some clues.

Also, if ssh is enabled, you could see that is taking the resources from the linux CLI.

Thanks for the reply and happy new year! Unfortunately, the log says nothing!

You've looked in the zip?  There's a lot more information there than there is on the logs page.
