Okay so I tried the direct connect - set my client to 192.168.168.100 in the ipv4 settings with the subnet 255.255.255.0. I rebooted the NAS but was unable to access it with the web browser or with Raidar with the default address 192.168.168.168. (I used this method because the NAS was configured to get its ip address from the DHCP server). So now I am wondering if the NAS NIC has bit the dust. The ethernet lights in the back of the NAS are now not coming on as well. Any thoughts?
