ReadyNAS NV+ Auto power down is "improper"
I have a ReadyNAS NV+ set to automatically power down and then up again in the early hours of Sunday morning. (This is because, if left running indefinitely, it locks up without giving a reason). The unit is running the latest software, 4.1.12.
But after each automatic power down, I am emailed to say "Improper shutdown detected". It tells me to shut down again - which would totally defeat the object of having automatic power down and power up. Is there any way to avoid this problem?
