ReadyNas NV+ data loss
If anybody can help, much appreciated. Had a call from customer saying NAS drive had died, has 2 x 1Tb drives in X-Raid. Ran RaidAr, to try and get access, would see the unit, but not the drives...

Taking out both drives and letting sync was mistake, you should only pull out the corrupted (dead) drive. You can't just mount ReadyNas drive under Windows. It wont be recognized due to other file system. I would suggest to take the good drive hook it into Linux machine and mount it.
ReadyNas is using LVM, so you will need at least basic skills and knowledge to get it working. When you confirm that you still have data on that drive put it back into Duo and boot. You should be able to access FrontView and shares and then you should put another drive in order to rebuild you array.
