ReadyNas NV+ Disk Failure upgrade

That mostly depends on the version of the firmware you're currently running on the ReadyNAS. If it's a 4.x version your plan should work out fine. It wouldn't be a bad idea to make a backup of your data on an USB attached 2TB drive first, however ;)
