Hello.
Yes RAIDar see the Nas.
It is like this.
All is working normal for a while (a couple of hours) and then it hangs again.
Then you have to switch off power on the back and on again.
When you switch on the nas unit it detects the powerbreak and starts to syncronize the disks, that goes well.
It also asks that you should check filesystem by rebboting it, that goes well too.
So after that two actions I open the logs in the Nas to see if anything is wrong but everything is reported okey.
Then suddenly after some hours it has stopped working and is hanged.

You could lose all access to the NAS soon, so if you have no backups you really should be making them.
It sounds likely to be a filling OS partition to me. If I am right, you would need to enable ssh on the NAS (and feel comfortable using it) to resolve the problem yourself. Another option is to do a factory reset, and rebuild the NAS/restore the data from backup.
It would be easy for Netgear to solve, so if you are the original purchase you could try contact supporting (and pay a per-incident support fee).

Hello Stephen.
Now I have enabled ssh and have logged in on my ReadyNAS.
The command df shows:
hakan-nas1:/var/log# df
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/hdc1 2031872 835664 1196208 42% /
tmpfs 16 0 16 0% /USB
/dev/c/c 5825235232 1139718496 4685516736 20% /c
/c/backup 5825235232 1139718496 4685516736 20% /home/ftp/backup
/c/hakan 5825235232 1139718496 4685516736 20% /home/ftp/hakan
/c/media 5825235232 1139718496 4685516736 20% /home/ftp/media
Is there anything interesting in /var/log/messages?

Hello hby,
I checked your profile and found that your ReadyNAS NV+ is a v1 and its hardware warranty as well as support are already expired.
Have a full backup of your data. Once done, it may be best you do the factory reset. Or wait for mdgm if he can take a look remotely.

Normally I'd expect ~20%, but this is not full enough to hang the NAS.
I think JennC is correct, a factory reset (after you complete the backup) is the best next step. Or buy a new NAS (under the theory that the NV+ hardware might be starting to fail).

Hi.
I have decided to buy a new NAS (made it yesterday).
Thanks for your help.
