ReadyNAS NV+ LCD full black bars at power on
Older ReadyNAS has been sitting for a while. The power supply and fan are working. But the device never seems to fully boot up. The LCD displays no messages, but the top row is full black rectangle characters. No LED lights on the hd icons. Can someone help decipher? Is this bad memory?

Does the NIC LED has activity? If it lights up, have you tried downloading RAIDar and see if it can still detect the NAS? From there if the NAS is detected we may be able to check and determine the status of your NAS.
