ReadyNAS NV+ v2 new hard drives

I have a legacy ReadyNAS device (ReadyNASRND4000v2 - aka ReadyNAS NV+ v2) that ticks along quite nicely ... but one of my harddrives needs replacing.

I currently have four hard drives, all four being Seagate Barracuda ST3000DM001. Seing that this is quite an old model, I wonder if I can use a ST3000DM008 drives to replace the one needing replacing?

You'd be better with a 3 TB Ironwolf (or a WD30EFRX).  Seagate DMs don't have a good track record with RAID (particularly the 3 TB models).

Thanks Stephen - I will give that a go!
