I have used them in an NV+ (v1) for quite a while. They are reliable in that unit. However, I recently lost power a couple times. After the first power loss, the NAS came back up and was almost through a complete re-sync, and then power went out again. On the second time around, it started freezing during the FS check on boot up. It would lock up at 31% complete. Long story short, I had to do a factory reset (losing all data) in order to get it to boot up.
